Banon Chèvre cheese is produced in Provence region of southeastern France. This cheese is made from goat's milk in area that is bounded by Alps and Italy to east and Rhône River to the west, with the Mediterranean Sea providing its southern border. It is an uncooked and unpressed cheese, which offers the soft consistency. The content of fat is around 55%. It can be tasted with the wines such as Vin de Cassis and Provence's rosé or just with any of sweet desert wine.
