Bleu du Vercors Sassenage
Monks from Rhône-Alpes region of France were the first producers of Bleu du Vercors Sassenage cheese, back in 14th century. This unpressed, uncooked blue-veined traditional cheese got AOC i.e. Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée seal in 1998. Bleu du Vercors Sassenage is a blue cheese made from mild pasteurised cow's milk. It has a natural rind and famous for its delicate flavour and mild scent. Used as an aperitif for the delicious sauces. This cheese and full-bodied red or white wine gives a whole new meaning for food.
