Brescianella Stagionata comes from the Lombardy region of Italy. It is fruity, flavourful and soft cheese. It takes 6 months to mature, during which it develops its characteristic flavour - yeasty, fruity tang with a grassy finish and distinct aroma. It is square in shape and becomes creamier with age. With its small blue molds, washed rind is a burnished orange in colour. It is made from cow’s milk. It tastes delicious when melted on polenta. It is best with fresh crusty Italian bread and a glass of wine. Also it can be served with snacks, ham, fruit and salami.
