Brie de Nangis
Though originally produced around the town of the same name, Brie de Nangis cheese is not produced for longer period in Nangis commune of the Ile-de-France region. Still it retains its original unique style. It has some similarities in texture and flavour characteristics with Brie de Meaux cheese but much smaller in size than Brie de Meaux. It takes around 5 weeks to mature when its soft, smooth surface becomes runny with age. It offers a milky and sweet taste and well served specially with light and fruity wines.
