Cendré d'Argonne is a cheese from Champagne region located in the northeast of France. This area is famous for the production of the sparkling white wine that bears the region's name. Also known as Noyers-le-Val, this soft cheese has a natural rind and it takes around 2 to 3 months for the maturation process. When aged, in offers a delicious fruity taste. Covered in wood ash, it has a thick disc shape. The fat content is around 30 - 35%. It can be served with Corton or light red wines.
