Doux de Montagne
A cheese from Aquitaine in the region of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, this traditional cheese is prepared with the age-old recipe of the Monts du Velay region of France. The taste is creamy, fruity and has a buttery after taste. The rind is coated in brown wax and is manufactured in the shape of a disc. The milk is pasteurised before it used to prepare cheese. Its bread loaf shape makes it unique from other cheeses. The cheese is matured for about 2 to 5 months. If refrigerated it should be consumed within 60 days.
