A honey coloured swiss type cheese, Frère Jacques, has a distinct hazelnut taste, soft flavour and a natural orange skin. Comes with yellow crust and firm texture. Made from pastuerized cow’s milk. Contains 27% fat. Requires 35 days to attain its maturity. Preserved in a wax paper which is made of double aluminium foil, kept between 2-4ºC. Found in cheese dairies at IGA and subway. Also available in spaecialised grocery shops. Eaten with fresh fruits, salads, omelettes, and quiches. Tastes delightful, when scrambled in meat dishes. Served with Henry of Pelham, Reserve Chardonnay.
