Island Haloumi

Island Haloumi comes with a Cyprus heart. An extremely mild and firm but pliable textured cheese with a natural savour and a hint of salt. Made from sheep’s milk. it squeaks when one bites it. Generally sliced and burned on a flat grill and then served with a squeeze of lemon juice and some vine-ripened tomatoes. Also served as an appetizer. Enjoyed with salad, meat or pulses.
