Kalathaki of Limnos
Kalathaki of Limnos is produced in the Limnos Island. Made from ewe’s milk or mixtures with small quantities of goat’s milk. This white colour cheese has soft in texture and little sour and salty in test. This is cheese is without outer skin but it is full of small holes filled with droplets of fat. Similar to Feta cheese, this is used as table cheese, cheese pastries and very often as “saganaki”. Also it tests delicious with fruits.
