L'Alt Urgell, is the cheese which is being produced in the Urgelia, in Spain. This cheese is made from the milk of frisona race cows. Its rind is natural and it is of brownish colour. The cheese has a creamy or ivory colour, with lots of small and irregular holes though the cheese. Has a soft creamy texture, soft and deep aroma, smooth, nice and characteristic flavour. Usually it is being consumed with meat and fishes.
