Produced around the town of the same name, Lubelski is a Polish Mozzarella-type cheese. Lubelski town belongs to Lublin region of Eastern Poland. This agricultural part of the country is situated between the Vestula and Bug rivers and it contains rich and sandy soil. It is a home for Lubelski cheese which is mild in taste and dry in nature. Made from pasteurised cow's milk, this cheese can be easily melted and it is also suitable for the cooking purposes. The flavour and texture of the cheese are very similar to Mozzarella cheese. It can be served as table cheese with beer or as an excellent pizza topping.
