A fantastically strong Canadian Miranda is found to have an appreciable unique taste of apple and nuts with a firm texture. Smells of wet straw. Somewhat salty in taste. Washed skin with a mature surface comes with a marvelous sweet hazelnut flavour. Should be preserved for 5 months in a aluminium foil of doubly waxed paper between 2 and 4 ºC. An aging period of 5 months is required. Made from cow’s milk contains around 26% fat. Available in cheese dairies, special groceries and some super markets. Particularly served with quiches. Also eaten with salads, soups, omelettes and sandwiches.
