Monsted Cavern is made in the central part of Jutland peninsula in Denmark. It is a unique cheese with strong taste that tickles in the mouth. This delicious cheese is made from pasteurised cow's milk. Its name is derived from the cave named Monsted limestone where it is kept for aging underground away from environmental changes. The climate under caves is maintained at constant 45ºF temperature and 95% humidity all round the year naturally, which are very favorable for excellent cheese. Has a flavour of it’s own & it’s really unique. It can be served in dinner by adding thin slice of cheese in pickles, & also tests great with meats, green fruit and dark bread.
