An interesting Italian cheese as it is made from blend of pasteurised cow and goat's milk. Delicate soft cheese. Produced in the Valtellina region of Lombardy, a valley famous for its ski mountains that towers rural cultures. Rich flavour of Matusc is served simply with olives, fresh bread and artichoke hearts. It is best with salads, sandwiches and soups. Wines like Pinot Grigio, Barbaresco or Dolcetto d'alba are most preferred with it & Pinot Grigio if a white wine is preferred.
