Originally made by Trappist monks, Oka is a Canadian fame around the world. Because of its fruity pungent aroma and gentle nutty flavour it is sometimes recognized as nutty and fruity. Hand-washed, copper orange skin with a semi-soft matured interior and a unique aroma makes it distinct from others. Made from both raw and pasteurised cow’s milk. Contains 28%fat. An aging period of 60 days is necessary. Can be preserved up to 2 months in the doubled waxed paper of an aluminium foil between 2 and 4 ºC and with around 45% moisture. Melts fantastically giving a fresh taste. Contains light alcoholic fragmentation. Comes with a mild-strong flavour, filled with appealing tangs: mellow, milky, creamy, buttery, and a little bit crunchy. Oka, whether regular or classic, expresses itself delightfully on cheese trays. Generally served with Chardonnay Reserve, Chardonnay Single Vineyards - Montague, Klose, Seeger, and Schuele. Tastes heaven with Burgundy! Also served with salads soups and sandwiches. Available in all grocery shops
