Pecorino Toscano Stagionato
This popular and centuries-old D.O.C. i.e. name-controlled table or grating cheese is manufactured in Tuscany region of central Italy. Made from sheep's milk, Pecorino Toscano Stagionato is sturdy and dense in texture with a hint of salty and nutty flavour. Aged for just 40 days, its appealing and pleasant nature becomes the highlight on a cheese plate. It has natural rind and detectable hint of Tuscan herbs, grass and wildflowers. Great with olives and Italian cured meats. Also tastes delicious with a wide range of Italian wines, like Chianti, Prosecco or Muscat.
