Pentu de l'Etang
Made from raw goat's milk, Pentu de l'Etang is produced in Loire valley of France. A perfectly aged cheese with triangular or pyramid type shape. Made by an expert cheese maker Madam Barbeillon, this cheese is little firmer and saltier than the similar type of cheeses such as Barbeillon or Gour Noir. It offers thin and flowery rind with acidic taste, the paste under rind is denser and softer while at the centre it is creamy white. Extremely clean cheese with a sweet and very mild goaty aroma. Enjoy Pentu de l'Etang with white or light fruity red wines.
