Pyengana Cloth Matured Cheddar
Pyengana Cloth Matured Cheddar as the name suggests is matured using cheesecloth and original hoops. Slightly crumbly textured, comes with a rich honey and summer grass aroma. Made from cow’s milk. Generally produced during spring and autumn seasons. Yellow in colour and comes with its individual character and a rounded flavour that is excellently developed when aged for 12 to 18 months. Generally served with quince paste and muscatels. Appreciated with dry full-bodied red or white wine on a cheese platter. An excellent table cheese.
