Traditionally prepared cheddar cheese takes its name from a Mrs. Quicke. The milk produced in her dairy, is used to produce this cheese. It is typical English farmhouse cheddar cheese with crystalline texture. The cheese is indeed handmade using methods that have been around for hundreds of years. Normally it is aged for almost 18 months. This cheese is spicy in taste with strong flavour. It is consumed wine such as Pinot Noir, Gamay Burgundy, or Beaujolais.
