Saint-Claude also called Chevret is a small flat disc with a fine bluish rind. Soft textured, smooth with a delightful crunch and contains 45% fat. Generally manufactured in the summer and autumn seasons. Loved by the cheese lovers with a fine red wine that preserves its goaty savour. Mostly enjoyed with light and fruity Jura. Served on the cheese trays with Savoire, the Beaujolais and all kinds of white wines.
