Six Pans du Lauragais
Famous as a little farmer’s cheese, Six Pans du Lauragais is made from goat’s milk, in the Lauragais region of France. Has a sweet flavour with a hint of mushroom and pepper. Is aged for 2-3 weeks so that a firm and smooth interior is developed. If allowed to mature further the cheese will attain a texture and taste of buttered pastry. Produced at the end of spring, summer and autumn seasons. Appreciated on the cheese palate with Châteuneuf Blanc.
