This cheese is a variant of the 'Timsi cheese'. Made from cow or goat's milk, its speciality is that it has a mild and clean taste. Also the cheese's smell is very pleasant. It has a very thin crust, which can be easily expanded. The highlight of the 'Smoked Timsi' is that the cheese is smoked by using only the traditional method of beeching wood.
