Tomme au Jurancon
Tomme au Jurancon is a cylindrical cheese with a semi-hard texture. Requires a period of 2 months to mature. During this period, the young cheese is washed with Jurançon twice a week so that a marvelous yellow to orange rind develops around the natural mould. Jurançon is a slightly sweet white wine from the Pau region of the Pyrenees. Tomme au Jurancon is made from goat’s milk and contains around 20-40% fat. Adored by the lovers with Jurançon wine. can also be enjoyed with a wine that retains its typical characteristic taste.
