Tomme Crayeuse is produced in the Savoie region of France. Contains a lovely grayish brown crust and a yellow nucleus with an intense semi-soft ivory paste. If allowed to mature, then it attains rich creamy and relishing heart. Comes with earthy flavours and a mushroomy aroma. When the cheese is 2 months old, it develops a creamy interior. Made from pasteurised cow’s milk. Can be served with Cornas (Syrah grape). A combination of Tomme Crayeuse and Pinot Noir is worth trying!
