Tomme noire des Pyrénées
The cheese of cylindrical in shape with black wax rind. This half-pressed and uncooked cheese is made from pasteurised cow's milk. It is produced in Ariège, Hautes-Pyrénées, Pyrénées-Atlantiques departments situated in South West of France. The interior is pale-white dotted with small holes. This semi-soft cheese has buttery flavour taste. The covering is treated with a black wax film & is refined min for 21 days, before giving in the market.
