Tomme Québécoise (Quebec)
Tomme Québécoise is produced in the province Quebec hence the name Tomme Québécoise. Canadian hearted cheese with flexible and semi hard texture with a fresh relish of butter and cream and a delicate aroma with hint of apple. Comes with peel going from ivory to yellow, covered wih dark red film and white or light yellow inside. When exposed to high temperatures, melts and turns brown. Can be stored for 3-4 weeks. Tastes delicious with fresh or dried fruits. Enjoyed with good red wine, forms a part of desert. Served with fresh or just ripe figs. Also appreciated with every day meals.
