Vacherin des Bauges
The history of Vacherin des Bauges goes back to middle ages when this cheese was served to the Dukes of Savoy. It is produced in a Bauges Mountains, a mountain range in Savoy province of eastern France. This Uncooked, unpressed cheese is made from cow’s milk and has a washed rind. Soft and slightly sweet in taste. It is very tasty with a glass of light red or fruity red wine.
