Can You Freeze Brie Cheese?

Freezing Brie cheese will alter its texture and flavor, making it less desirable as a commodity, although still perfectly edible. If you find yourself with a surplus of Brie and want to extend its shelf life, freezing can be an option.

Simply wrap the cheese tightly in plastic or enclose it in aluminum foil to prevent freezer burn. When you're ready to use the frozen Brie, thaw it in the refrigerator and consume it within a few days.
