Carre de l'Est
Carré de l'Est, a French cheese originating from the eastern region of Lorraine, is as distinctive in its shape as it is in its name. The name itself, "Carré de l'Est," translates to 'square of the East,' a reference to both its geographical origin and its unique square form.
Produced from cow's milk, Carré de l'Est is aged for five weeks, resulting in a delightful smoky bacon flavour. It is pale yellow in colour and comes wrapped in silver foil or paper.
