Pecorino Toscano DOP
This popular and centuries-old DOP table cheese is manufactured in Tuscany (Toscano in Italian) region of central Italy. Made from pasteurized sheep's milk.
The fresh version is aged for 20-30 days. It is semi-firm cheese with fruity and mild flavour.
The aged version is aged for about 6 months. It is firm, nutty and rich in flavour with hints of butterscotch.
