Produced by Jacobs & Brichford of Indiana, Ameribella is an Italian style semi-soft, washed rind cheese with a salty, savoury and mildly lactic flavour. The pale creamy yellow coloured cheese with a scattering of fissures is covered with a soft cream to the orange-brown rind. The flavour is earthy and mushroomy with notes of hay and a mellow finish. As it ages, the flavour sweetens and the body becomes smooth and silky.
